Knowledge is warranted belief -- it is the body of belief that we build up because, while living in this world, we've developed good reasons for believing it. What we know, then, is what works -- and it is, necessarily, what has worked for us, each of us individually, as a first approximation. For my other blog, on the struggles for control in the corporate suites, see www.proxypartisans.blogspot.com.

But they are not to be commended for their care in citing your article. They misspell "Christopher," and they give the citation as 50 Fed. Law. 39, 43 (2003), although the article begins on page 38. Also, "Fed. Law." may not indicate to all their readers that the magazine is "The Federal Lawyer," which is a monthly that starts on page 1 each month. Therefore, citing the page number without the month requires one to look at each issue in 2003 until one finds the article in the January issue.
